Sandman Combat™ did not come out of theory. It came out of fatherhood, partnership, coaching, and years of building inside a real room.

Without guidance, growth becomes random.
Without testing, confidence becomes fragile.
Without accountability, potential stays theoretical.

Family Built

I coach because what I build in my family should not stop with us.

What we want for them is simple — character that carries into life.

I’m a father of five. My oldest son is a Division I graduate. My youngest is still just getting started. That range has shaped how we build growth, pressure, and responsibility in the room.

Construido en familia

Entreno porque lo que construyo en mi familia no debe quedarse solo con nosotros.

Lo que queremos para ellos es simple — carácter que se lleve a la vida.

Soy padre de cinco. Mi hijo mayor es graduado de División I. El menor apenas está comenzando. Ese rango ha moldeado cómo construimos el crecimiento, la presión y la responsabilidad en el salón.

Built Together

My partner and I have built this life together.

I call her my wife. Together we have run a local martial arts gym in our small town for over 13 years.

She comes from a strong judo background with years of real training and competition. I grew up in wrestling. Our paths were different, but the values matched: work, discipline, and responsibility.

Construido juntos

Mi compañera y yo hemos construido esta vida juntos.

Yo la llamo mi esposa. Juntos hemos dirigido un gimnasio local en nuestro pueblo por más de 13 años.

Ella viene de un fuerte fondo en judo con años de entrenamiento y competencia reales. Yo crecí en la lucha. Nuestros caminos fueron distintos, pero los valores coincidieron: trabajo, disciplina y responsabilidad.

Experience

I started in team sports, but wrestling changed everything — it put the outcome in my hands.

I continued competing beyond high school, including years in professional fighting.

When my son began his own journey, I stepped away from competition to focus on coaching and building the right path forward.

Experiencia

Comencé en deportes de equipo, pero la lucha cambió todo — puso el resultado en mis manos.

Continué compitiendo después de la preparatoria, incluyendo años en pelea profesional.

Cuando mi hijo comenzó su propio camino, dejé la competencia para enfocarme en entrenar y construir el camino correcto hacia adelante.
